The optional contact N.C. (Normally Closed) is an accessory that certifies the status of the door: N.C. normally closed with the door closed.
It is independent of the automation and can be connected to the alarm and / or home automation system, through the cable with the clamp positioned at the top right, inside view of the up and over door. It comes already installed in the door. Available in two solutions: Contact N.C. optional only with motorized up and over door. Contact N.C. optional for pass door (with manual or motorized up and over door).
With the contact N.C. connected to the home automation system, it is possible to monitor the opening and closing of the garage door.
The contact N.C. for doors and windows it can be useful to check if an external gate or a garage door has been left open.
In this case, the home automation system sends a warning signal to the user that is in another area of the house or, at the same time, activates an alarm signal that can also be highlighted on a supervision screen.
If necessary, it is possible to send a signal to a remote device, for example, via a GSM remoter.
