All doors wide open at Ballan
19/09/2011
On Saturday 10 September Ballan S.p.A. "opened the doors" to its new headquarters and production location at Villa del Conte with a major event, with more than 400 people from the industry invited (agents, Italian and foreign customers, suppliers and staff), which was also honoured with the presence of the Deputy President of the Veneto Region, Marino Zorzato, the President of the Province of Padua, Barbara Degani, the Regional Councillor for the Environment, Maurizio Conte and the Mayor of Villa del Conte, Francesco Cazzaro.
Welcomed by the company's owners, Genesio and Giuseppe Ballan, the General Manager Emilio Ballan and the Technical Manager Claudio Caccaro, those attending the meeting visited the impressive complex that houses the Head Offices and the production departments, which now also feature a state-of-the-art robotic painting system. They also enjoyed a detailed introduction to all the latest innovations in the Ballan 2011/12 range of doors and operating systems, on show outside the buildings and duly presented by the company's Product Manager.
"We decided to call this day ‘open doors'," explained the General Manager Emilio Ballan, during his speech, "not just because we have given visitors a tour of our new offices and production facility, which rationalises and further improves our company's management and our garage door manufacturing operations. ‘Open doors ‘means dialogue with and responsiveness to our customers, with the sharing of values and potential. This meeting will not be just a one-off event; it will be the start of closer dialogue and collaboration, to enable us to join forces to achieve our future aims."
The stated aim of the ‘open doors' event was to inaugurate a new era for Ballan, reinvigorating the garage door firm which celebrated its 40th birthday in 2010 and intends to face the challenges of the future with the most suitable resources, to continue to lead the sector in quality of output and technological innovation.
