The company investing in the health of its employees
10/03/2011
Ballan SpA, has signed an innovative agreement with the secretariat of Fim Cisl of Padua, for the year 2011, which enables its 140 employees to subscribe to a collective integrational health Fund.
This fund will enable employees to be covered in the event of admission to hospital by up to 100,000 euro, with no expenses for any situation or problem. They will also receive cover of up to 3,000 Euro in the event of visits to day hospitals, 1,000 Euro annually for diagnostic check-ups and reimbursement of prescription charges. These subsidies will also apply to the employee's family.
This achievement has met with great success thanks to the information bodies which publicised and promoted the news (the new programme TG3 Veneto dedicated an entire session): in fact Ballan is the first metal/mechanics company in the Veneto region to sign such an agreement. Proof again that despite the general crisis, Ballan still invests in its resources and finds pioneering initiatives, as it often has in over 40 years of business.
